About Us
Founded on the 9th March 2005 as a technology discussion forum, Overclock3D quickly evolved into fully fledged online publication focused on providing readers with unbiased information and reviews on the latest technology. Backed by a team of knowledgeable hardware enthusiasts, Overclock3D went from strength to strength in its first year before finally becoming registered as a UK Limited company on 13th June 2006.
In the years following, focus was placed on increasing the publications professionalism and excellence by investing a large portion of its profits back into the company for the purpose of improving it's testing equipment and methodology. As it presently stands, Overclock3D has one of the most advanced Power Supply testing platforms in the UK and is also taking similar steps to improve it's cooling (air/water) testing platform by investing in devices such as heat load generators and thermal imaging cameras. Our investments into these areas is driven only by our belief in providing our readers with technologically accurate, yet easily digestible content.
On the 1st of January 2010 Overclock3D reached another milestone in its history with the launch of a brand new website design and company logo. While these changes may have seemed superficial to some, to the team at Overclock3D these changes marked the start of a new era for the publication, where the level of professionalism and determination to become one of the most recognised and trusted technology websites in the UK has been raised once more. Of course, our team of writers and editorial staff are still ground rooted, friendly and approachable. You can see the current gang below.
